WHO IS RAVINDER TAKKAR?
Ravinder Takkar
Ravinder Takkar is the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi). He was appointed as MD and CEO for a period of three years with effect from August 19, 2019, following the resignation of Balesh Sharma.
He has a degree in computer science engineering from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
Takkar is currently a non-executive director on the Board of the Company and Indus Towers (a joint venture between Vodafone India, Airtel and Idea), where he is responsible for all Vodafone Group interests in India, a role which he took on in 2017.
