Chandra Kant Birla (C K Birla) is an Indian businessman and philanthropist. He is the chairman of multinational conglomerate CK Birla Group and a member of the illustrious Birla family that has made its mark on India’s industrial history.

As of 2021, the group has 25,000 employees on its payroll, runs 41 manufacturing facilities and has a presence across five continents. In the same year, the group recorded revenue of $2.4 billion. The group includes well-known brands such as Orient Electric, Orient Cement, and Birla Institute of Technology - Mesra located in Jharkhand’s Ranchi.
