WHEN IS WORLD LITERACY DAY
World Literacy Day
International Literacy Day is observed on 8th of September every year. According to UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation), the day is celebrated to remind the international community of the importance of literacy for individuals, communities and societies, and the need for intensified efforts towards more literate societies.
