Those who desire liquidity should opt for a gold ETF having low expense ratio and high volume

Since the purchase of gold around Dhanteras and Diwali is regarded auspicious, demand for the yellow metal is likely to surge over the next few days. All investors should have a 10-15 per cent allocation to gold in their portfolios for diversification, to hedge against equity-market volatility, and for protection against inflation.
